Example 5: Making Cursor Measurements

There are 20 built-in automatic measurements. They can also be conducted using
cursors to make time and voltage measurements on a waveform quickly.

Measure the Peak Frequency of the First Sine Waveform

To measure the frequency at the rising edge of a signal, do these steps:
1.

Click Analyze

Cursor

Manual Cursor to show the Manual Cursor window.

Click to turn on cursor X ( ).

Drag the cursor A on the first peak of the wave.
Drag the cursor B on the second peak of the wave.
