Overview

Software for the following purposes must be
installed on the computer that you will use to
service this machine:

For writing data to the machine

» Used after replacing the Main PWB

For writing the EDID to the machine

» Used after replacing the Main PWB

For writing the serial number and model number
to the machine.

» Used after replacing the Main PWB

For service adjustments

» Used after replacing either of these components: Main

PWB, Opt Base

The next few slides explain what software must be installed, and how to install it.
Using the software will be explained later, in the ‘Adjustments after Replacing
Components’ section.
