3. Insert the SD card into the service slot 2 [D] (Lower) of the controller board. Then turn the power
ON.
4. Enter SP mode.
5. Select “Service” and press “#Enter” button twice.
6. Select “Bit Switch 1”and press “#Enter” button.
7. Use the arrow keys to select “Bit Switch 4” and press “Enter” and use the arrow keys to turn bit 4
ON. The result should look like: 00010000. By doing this Card Save option will appear in “List/
Test Print”.
8. Press the “Escape” button several times, and use the arrow keys to select “3 End” to exit SP Mode.
9. Press the “Menu” button.
10. Use the arrow keys and select “List/Test Print”.
11. Use the arrow keys and select “Card save (ADD)” or “Card save (New)”.
12. To enable the newly configured settings, select “#” button and then press the “Escape” button to
exit the “List/Test Print” menu.
13. Send a job to the printer.
14. As soon as the printer receives the data, it will be stored on the SD card automatically with no print
output. Nothing is displayed on the screen indicating that a Card Save operation was successful.
15. Press the “Suspend/Resume” button and then the “Escape” button to exit Card Save mode.
16. Change the Bit Switch Settings back to the default 00000000.
