Remove the screw and securing
bracket from the paper feed unit.

Turn off the printer's power
switch and remove all cables and
cords from the printer.

Remove the paper cassette from
the printer.

G

Remove the connector cover from
the printer.

Note

Keep the removed connector
cover. When you detach the pa-
per feed unit, re-attach the con-
nector cover to the printer.

Set the locking plate on the paper
feed unit to the “RELEASE” posi-
tion.

Important

Be sure  to  set  the  locking  plate
to the “RELEASE” position. If
you place the printer on the pa-
per feed unit with the locking
plate  set  to the  “LOCK”posi-
tion,  the  printer  or  the  paper
feed unit may be damaged.
