Troubleshooting

Prior to moving and transporting the
printer

Before moving and transporting the
printer, be sure to remove the fuser
oil bottle, and then remove and wipe
out any residual oil from the printer.

Slide the top cover open lever to-
wards the front of the printer, and
open the top cover.

Rotate the lock levers to release
the bottle.

Remove the oil bottle while plac-
ing a sheet of paper under the bot-
tle so that no oil falls into the
printer.

Put the oil bottle into an oil-proof
container, such as a plastic bag.

Remove any excess oil from the
printer using the eye-dropper.

Dispose of the oil according to lo-
cal regulations.
