3.2- Special warnings when using lifting equipment
- Before installing and using this product, in order to ensure the safe and efficient use of the product,
make sure you have read and fully understood the information and instructions given in this manual.
Pass a copy of this manual to all potential operators and keep it for future reference. If you lose the
manual or should it become illegible, request a copy of the manual to your local dealer.
- Do not use the product if any of the plates mounted on the unit is missing or if any of the information
on the plates is no longer legible. Contact your local dealer for identical labels for replacement; and
affix them before using the product again.
- Make sure that all persons intended to operate this product know perfectly how to use it in a safe
way, in accordance with all local regulations related to safety at work. This manual must be made
available to all users and enclosed with the product whenever selling or transferring it.
- This product must only be used in compliance with all local applicable safety regulations and
standards regarding the installation, use, maintenance and inspection of lifting equipment.

Do NOT
use for professional applications
- Any first-time user must first check that he/she has fully understood all the safety requirements and
correct operation instructions involved in use of the product.
First-time operators must check, under risk-free conditions, before applying the load and over a
limited lifting height, that he/she has fully understood how to safely and efficiently use the product.
- Product installation and use must be carried out under conditions ensuring the installer’s/operator’s
safety in compliance with the local regulations applicable to its category.
- Before any use of the product, inspect the product as well as the accessories for any visible damage.
- The manufacturer and/or the dealer decline any responsibility for use of this product in a setup
configuration that is NOT described in this manual.
- The unit must be suspended vertically to an anchoring point and/or a structure having sufficient
strength to withstand the maximum load indicated in this manual. If several products are used
together, the strength of the structure must be compatible with the number of lifting equipment used
and with the maximum utilisation load of the units.
- The lifting chain is an integral part of the unit and must never be disassembled, repaired or modified
without the manufacturer’s/dealer’s authorisation. The manufacturer/dealer decline any
responsibility for the consequences resulting from disassembly or changes to the chain.
- The chain must be in good condition to ensure a safe and correct operation of the product. The
condition of the chain must be checked before each use.
Any product with a chain showing signs of wear or damage should be removed from use until it has
been inspected and repaired (if necessary) by the manufacturer, dealer or its service agent.
- The manufacturer/dealer declines any responsibility for consequences due to any changes made to
the product or removal of components forming integral part of the unit.
- The unit is intended for manual operation only and must
never
be motorized.
- When using the product, the user must ensure that the chain remains constantly under load. The user
must be particularly careful to ensure that the load does not become temporarily snagged by an
obstacle when coming down as this could result in breaking of the chain when the load is released
from its obstacle.
- The product must never be used for lifting or moving people.
- The manufacturer/dealer decline any responsibility for the consequences resulting from product
disassembly in any way that is not described in this manual or for repairs performed without its
authorization, especially as for replacement of original parts by parts of another manufacturer.
- The product must NOT be used for any operations other than those described in this manual. The
product must never be used to handle any load exceeding the maximum load indicated on the product.
It must never be used in explosive atmosphere.
- Never remain or walk under a load. The area under the load should be clearly delimited by signs and
its access prohibited.
- When a load is to be lifted by several equipment, a technical study must first be carried out by a
qualified technician before installation of the units. The installation must then be carried out in
