[F | H]
The
TCQ
command returns the timecode of
the current clip position. This command is valid
in
Play
or
Play Pause
modes only. When used
with the
F
argument, the
TCQ
command
returns the relative frame number. When used
with the
H
argument the
TCQ
command
returns the time code with resolution in
milliseconds.
CD
<dirname>
Changes to a new directory on the current
drive. Relative or absolute pathnames are
allowed. The path name to the removable disk
is /remov/. The path name to the (optional)
fixed disk is /fixed/.
Use the
PWD
command to report your current
directory and drive.
Example
: If you are currently using the fixed
drive and wish to change to the directory
“myclips” on the removable drive use the
following command:
cd /remov/myclips
DEL
ete
DIR
<dirname>
Removes the named (empty) directory.
Relative or absolute pathnames are allowed.
MKDIR
<dirname>
Makes a new directory. Relative or absolute
pathnames are allowed.
Example
: Create the directory “myclips”:
mkdir myclips
PWD
(none)
Gives the absolute path of the current
directory.
ERASEFIXEDDISK
(none)
This command erases the entire contents of
the optional fixed disk drive.
This is an interactive command that will prompt
for confirmation that you wish to proceed. The
process may take several minutes, and the
DGy will automatically reboot as soon as the
procedure is complete. Note that only recorded
data is stored on the disk. The DGy application
software (firmware) is not stored on disk.

This command does not have an
undo feature.
