Troubleshooting
Reboot
From the Dialer, enter the Main Menu using the “menu” button. Then navigate
to the “Settings” menu and open “Admin Settings”.
(Admin Settings is password protected with the same password as the Web UI.
If this has not been set to a different number, the default password is 7386.)
Using the navigation keys scroll down to the “Reboot” option. Selecting the
option by pressing OK and confirming the selection will reboot the device.
From the Web UI, click on the “Restart Device” button on the home page and
confirm the selection to reboot the system.
Removing the FLX UC device from power by disconnecting the IP connector will
also shut down the unit. Reconnecting the unit will power it up again.
Restore Factory Defaults
From the Dialer, access Admin Settings through the “Settings” menu on the
Main Menu. Using the navigation keys scroll down to the option “Reset Data”
option, and open that menu. Select all areas that should be reset and press
the [Reset] soft key at the bottom of the screen.
From the Web UI, open the “Configuration” menu under the “Tools” menu. On
the bottom of the page, under the header “Reset Defaults”, select the areas you
wish to reset, then click the “Reset Defaults” button on the right side of the
page.
Cannot Access Web User Interface
Check that the IP Address being used is correct. The IP Address of the device is
provided in the “Info” menu of the dialer screen. Input the whole IP Address,
including periods, into the URL bar of the browser to access the Web UI.
Please note that if “https” is selected for the web interface, browsers might
provide warnings as no known certificate can be provided. Ignore these
warnings to access the web interface.
If the IP Address is correct, enter Admin Settings on the dialer through the
“Settings” option on the Main Menu. Scroll down to the “Web Access” option,
and make sure the box is checked. If it isn’t, use “OK” or [Select] to turn it on,
