40 °C ambient temperature) of the device.

 

 

 

 

The MM 500 control sets special requirements in terms of the installation site. Please note that 
the device must be set up on a solid and firm surface. The surface should be able to carry a 
load of 90 kg without any concerns and be horizontal on all sides without any inclination. Please 
be aware that the device must be lifted by at least two people when it is set up. The base should 
be accessible from all sides so that the unit can be lifted carefully. In addition, the rear of the 
device should be accessible for connecting the cooling units. Otherwise, the device may have to 
be turned on the base during the installation. 
 
In particular, when using the cryoPad, observe the safety distances to be maintained from walls 
or surrounding installations. If the distances are not observed, material damage may occur due 
to excessive cooling or condensation.  
 

  Sufficient air exchange must be guaranteed at the installation site. Therefore, please ensure 

that the installation site is well ventilated! 

 
The MM 500 control makes special demands on the dehumidification of the room air. Excessive 
humidity may result in severe frost formation and can lead to malfunctions and, in particular, to 
the grinding jar supports icing up.
