In order to be able to use the cryostat optimally, a bypass may have to be provided in the inflow. 
The bypass connects the flow and the return of the cryostat and is equipped with a bypass 
valve. By means of the bypass valve, it is possible to control the amount of liquid that is 
constantly conveyed in the circuit without passing through the MM 500 control. By having a 
sufficient amount of liquid in constant circulation, the efficiency of the heat exchanger may be 
improved. Thus, lower temperatures at the cold plates can be achieved.
