A new track may be created in error during quiet sections or pauses.
Recording will pause briefly while the new track is being created. If there is a very short pause between
songs, the beginning of the new song may not be recorded.
When you record audio from the record player, the turntable will stop briefly between each song until the
new track has been created.
Recording audio CDs to a USB memory stick
• Switch to CD mode.
• Insert a USB storage device into the
USB
port (4).
• Press the
REC./DEL.
button (18). "REC" will appear on the LCD display. Wait for a few seconds until the system
has finished reading the USB memory stick and "ONE" is displayed.
• To record the current track, press the
REC./DEL.
(18) button. The recording will start after a few seconds.
• To record all tracks on the CD, select "ALL" using the
TUNING/SKIP
wheel (8), and then press the
REC./DEL.
button (18). "WAITING" will flash on the LCD display. The recording will start after a few seconds. "REC" and "USB"
will flash on the LCD display during the recording.
• To record an album on an MP3/WMA CD, select "DIR" using the
TUNING/SKIP
wheel (8), and then press the
REC./DEL.
button (18). The recording will start after a few seconds. "REC" and "USB" will flash on the LCD display
during the recording.
You can only record an album when you have inserted a CD that contains songs in MP3/WMA format.
• Press the
button (12) to pause recording. Playback will continue, but no sound will be recorded. Press the
button again to resume recording.
• To stop recording, press the (9) or
REC./DEL.

Recording will stop automatically when playback has finished, and "END" will be displayed. Recordings are made
in real time and saved in MP3 format with a bitrate of 128 kbit/s.
Copying MP3 files from a CD to a USB memory stick
You can choose to copy individual files and folders, or you can copy all MP3 files on the CD.
To copy individual files or all files:
• Switch to CD mode.
• Press the
REC./DEL.
button (18). "REC" will be displayed. Wait for a few seconds until the system has finished
reading the USB memory stick and "ONE" flashes on the display.
• To copy the current track, press the
REC./DEL.
(18) button. The copy process will start after a few seconds and
"USB" will flash on the LCD display (15).
• To copy all tracks on the CD, select "ALL" using the
TUNING/SKIP
wheel (8), and then press the
REC./DEL.
