i) Using the turntable
Before using the turntable, remove the needle cap from the cartridge.
Open the tonearm clamp. After use, place the tonearm back into the clamp and fix it in place.
• Press the
PHONO/AUX
button (20) to switch to turntable mode. "PHONO" will appear on the LCD display.
• Use the speed switch (33) to select the correct turntable speed for your record. You can choose from 33, 45, or
78 rpm.
• Move the
AUTO STOP
switch (32) to the desired position:
- "OFF": The turntable keeps turning (provided that turntable mode is selected).
-
"ON": The turntable stops automatically when playback has finished.
The auto-stop feature may not work properly for records with a non-standard lead-out groove. If your record
has a non-standard lead-out groove, set the
AUTO STOP
switch (32) to the "OFF" position and switch off
the turntable manually when playback has finished (press the
STANDBY/VOLUME
wheel, or move the
AUTO STOP
switch to the "ON position).
• Place the record onto the turntable (29). If necessary, use the single puck (30). If you are using a 45 rpm record,
place the single puck (30) in the centre of the turntable.
• Lift the tonearm (34) using the tonearm lift (31), and then swivel the tonearm until it is above the record. The
turntable will start to rotate.
• Carefully lower the tonearm (34) onto the record using the tonearm lift (31). Playback will start.
• If the
AUTO STOP
switch (32) is in the "ON" position, the turntable will stop rotating when playback has finished.
• Lift the tonearm (34) using the tonearm lift (31), and then swivel the tonearm back into its original position.
• If the
AUTO STOP
switch (32) is in the "OFF" position, or if you wish to end playback before the record has finished,
lift the tonearm (34) using the tonearm lift (31) and swivel it back into its original position.
j) Playing audio from an external device

AUX IN

• Press the
PHONO/AUX
button (20) to switch to auxiliary mode ("AUX" will appear on the LCD display).
• Start the audio playback on the connected device.
•
Sound will be played through the built-in speaker or headphones. You can connect an amplifier to the headphone
socket (optional).
