Deleting all tracks on the memory stick
• Press the button (9) to end playback.
• Hold down the
REC./DEL.
button for (18) 3–5 seconds. "ONE" will appear on the LCD display (15). Use the
TUNING/SKIP
wheel (8) to select "ALL", and then press the
REC./DEL.
button (18) again to confirm your selection.
•
All files on the memory stick will be deleted and "NO FILE" will be displayed.
Warning! All files on the memory stick will be deleted.
m) Playing a CD
You can use the turntable to play standard audio CDs and CDs containing MP3 files.
• Press the
OPEN/CLOSE
button (3) to eject the
CD
drive (1).
• Place a CD into the drive (1). Ensure that the printed side faces upwards.
• Press the
OPEN/CLOSE
button (3) again to close the CD drive (1).
• Keep pressing the
CD/USB
button (22) until "CD" is displayed.
• The device will read the CD and playback will start automatically.
• The following messages are displayed in CD mode:
"OPEN" = CD drive is opening
"CLOSE" = CD drive is closing
"READING" = CD drive is reading data
"NO DISC" = There is no CD in the drive
Follow the instructions in "Playing MP3 files on a USB memory stick" to control playback.
The following features are not available when a standard audio CD is inserted:
You cannot search for albums. Unlike MP3 CDs, standard audio CDs do not contain individual albums or
folders.
You cannot use the "RAN." or "INTRO" repeat feature.
You cannot add more than 20 tracks to a playlist.
Tips for handling CDs
•
Always hold a CD by its edges to prevent fingerprint marks and stains.
• Always ensure that the printed side faces upwards.
• Always ensure that your hands are clean before handling a CD.
• In the event of any dirt on the surface, wipe the CD from the centre using a soft, lint-free cloth. Never use circular
movements or apply detergent to the cloth or the CD.
•
Use a CD cleaning fluid to remove stubborn dirt (do not use a record cleaner). Always follow the instructions
included with the product.
