e) Connecting the power adapter
Before connecting the power adapter to the mains, ensure that the rated voltage on the power
adapter matches the mains voltage. Incorrect mains voltages can cause serious damage.
Exercise caution when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltages can cause
fatal electric shocks.
The mains socket to which the power adapter is connected must be easily accessible so that you
can unplug the power adapter quickly in the event of a fault.
The turntable and all connected devices must be switched off when you plug in the power adapter.
Do not leave cables lying around; ask an electrician to lay them properly to prevent the risk of an
accident.
Ensure that all electrical connections, connecting cables and extension cables are connected
properly in accordance with the operating instructions. When using an extension cable, ensure
that you do not exceed the maximum rated load.
• Insert the low-voltage connector on the power adapter into the power-in socket (26).
