Continue to adjust the slave cylinder 1-2 tick mark at a
time until optimal Free Play Gain is achieved. Checking
the Free Play Gain is easy and indicates when the
installed gap needs adjusting.
Note
: The Free Play Gain will change as the clutch pack
wears over time. Refer to the following pictures and chart
in the next section for additional adjustment information.
Make each adjustment in small increments
–
1-2 tick marks
at a time. After each adjustment, recheck Free Play Gain
until you achieve the optimal
1/8”
(3 mm) of clutch lever
movement.
FREE PLAY GAIN ADJUSTMENTS
Tick marks are located on the slave
cylinder, and an etch mark is on the
screw. If you need to re-position the
hex key, you can use these marks for
reference.
