HRI3E OPTIONAL LOG SET INSTALLATION
Ensure unit has cooled to room temperature and remove glass
door.
1. Install 4lbs of glass crystals on the burner—see glass crystal install
in the installation manual for details.
2. Install the two log support brackets—install each bracket measuring
4-1/2" from the side panel to the outside of the bracket.
Read the instructions below carefully and refer to the images. If the logs are broken do not use the unit until they are replaced.
Broken logs can interfere with pilot operation.
Improper positioning of the logs may create carbon build-up and can alter the unit's performance which is not covered under warranty.
*For Touch Ups: Dark Brown paint is included.

3. Install Log 1 at the back of the fi rebox—resting on the fi rebox and the
brackets installed in the previous step.
4. Install Log 4a—seat it on the glass crystals, burned end facing to the
back corner of the fi rebox. Install Log 2 diagonally, it will rest in the
indent of Log 1 and the small Y in Log 2 will rest on Log 4a as shown.
5. Install Log 3, rest the back part of the "Y" in the indent of Log 1, the
opposite end will rest on the glass crystals.
6. Tilt Log 3 up slight and place Log 4b halfway underneath Log 3, at
the "Y" junction.
