13. Troubleshooting
Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions!
Problem
Vehicle doesn’t respond to remote
control
Range too low
Vehicle doesn’t stop when steering is
let go off
Straight run isn’t correct
Turning circle too large
Steering or driving movements
opposite to movement of steering
wheel and throttle
Solution
• Is the rechargeable battery pack charged in the vehicle?
• Are the batteries or rechargeable batteries in the remote control
full?
• Is the remote control switched on?
• Is the on/off switch on the vehicle in the “ON” position?
• Is the rechargeable battery pack correctly connected in the vehicle?
• Are the crystals correctly inserted? The TX crystal belongs to the
remote control, the RX crystal to the vehicle.
• Is the telescopic antenna in the remote control screwed in tightly?
• Is the telescopic antenna completely pulled out?
• Is the wire antenna of the vehicle laid in the antenna tube? A tied
up antenna cable reduces the range to a few meters.
• Are the batteries or rechargeable batteries in the remote control
full?
• Do other transmitters interfere the radio transmission?
• Set the zero position for forward/reverse drive correctly with the
corresponding trim regulator.
• Adjust the straight run with the respective trim regulator.
• A certain clearance of the steering inhibits a 100% straight run
(eg when there is a change between forward and reverse drive).
• There is another trim regulator on the handle, see chapter 8
position
E
. This lets you limit the steering deflection.
• Bring the servo reverse switch (chapter 8, position F and G) in the
correct position.
