b) Inserting the quadrocopter rechargeable battery
Insert the charged quadrocopter rechargeable battery (1)
from behind into the battery compartment (2) of the quad-
rocopter.
Important:
The case part with the rechargeable battery
terminal contacts (3) must face downwards so
that a conductive connection with the terminal
contacts of the quadrocopter (4) can be estab-
lished when inserting the rechargeable battery.
Carefully insert the rechargeable battery into the battery
compartment as far as it will go. A locking latch holds the
rechargeable battery in its final position.
To remove the rechargeable battery, squeeze the grooved
surfaces on both sides and pull it backwards out of the
model.
c) Checking the drive
Before starting the quadrocopter, test the drive. Only when
all four propellers run smoothly and in a perfect circle can
the model be flown with the minimum energy consump -
tion. For this reason, you should check the function of the
drive propellers quickly before each flight.
To do this, rotate each individual propeller carefully with
your finger and check the concentricity and the ease of
movement.
When doing this, pay attention to the directions
of rotation of the various propellers.
Two propellers turn clockwise when seen from
above (A) and two propellers turn anti-clock-
wise (B).
