“RICE/GRAIN” Programme
This programme is recommended for cooking various grains and other side dishes. Default
time is 30 minutes. Manual time settings range from 5 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes with
1 minute intervals.
“PILAF” Programme
This programme is recommended for cooking various types of rice dishes. Default time is
60 minutes. Manual time settings range from 5 minutes to 2 hours with 5 minute intervals.
“STEAM” Programme
This programme is recommended for steaming or boiling vegetables, fish, meat and baby food.
Default time is 30 minutes. Manual time settings range from 10 minutes to 2 hours with 5
minute intervals. Countdown of the programme
begins only when the water comes to a full boil.
Use the steaming container provided to steam:
1. Pour 600-1000 ml of water into the bowl. Place the steaming container in.
2. Measure the ingredients following the recipe provided and put them into the container.
Install the steaming container inside the bowl. Make sure that the bowl and the heating
element fit tightly.
3. Follow recommendations given in the “Standard operating procedure for automatic
programmes”.
If you choose to adjust the time ofthe programme set bydefault,followrecom mendations given
in the Table of Recommended Steaming Time for Various Products.
“SOUP” Programme
This programme is recommended for cooking various soups, broths, stews and drinks. Default
time is 60 minutes. Manual time settings range from 20 minutes to 8 hours with 5 minute
intervals. The countdown of the programme begins only when the device reaches its operating
temperature.
“BOIL” Programme
This programme is recommended for cooking vegetables and legumes. Default
time is 40 minutes. Manual time settings range from 5 minutes to 2 hours with
5 minute intervals. The countdown of the programme begins only when the device reaches
its operating temperature.
“OATMEAL” Programme
This programme is recommended for cooking baby food and hot cereal, using milk. Default
time is 25 minutes. Manual time settings range from 5 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes with
1 minute intervals. To avoid boiling away,when cooking various oat porridges using pasteurized
low fat milk, we recommend you to do the following:
•
rinse grain thoroughly before cooking;
•
grease the sides of the bowl with butter;
•
follow the proportions suggested in the recipe book. Increase or reduce amount of
ingredients proportionally;
•
using whole milk dilute it by half with water.
Cooking results may vary depending on the manufacturer and the place of origin of the products
used.
“STEW” Programme
This programme is recommended for stewing vegetables, fish, meat, and seafood. Default time
is 60 minutes. Manual time settings range from 20 minutes to 12 hours with 10 minute intervals.
“BAKE” Programme
This programme is recommended for baking cakes, pies, puddings, yeast, and puff pastry.
Default time is 50 minutes. Manual time settings range from 20 minutes to 4 hours with
10 minute intervals.
“FRY” Programme
This programme is recommended for frying meat, vegetables, fish, poultry, and seafood. Default
time is 15 minutes. Manu al time settings range from 5 minutes to 1 hour with 1 minute
intervals. Preset function is not available in this programme.
“YOGURT” Programme
This programme is recommended for making healthy and delicious homemade yogurts and
proofing dough. Default time is 8 hours. Manual time settings range from 30 minutes to
12 hours with 30 minute intervals. Keep Warm function is not available in this programme.
Use yogurt jar set REDMOND RAM-G1 to prepare yogurts (to be purchased separately).
