10.4 Electromagnetic immunity
Guidelines and manufacturer declaration - electromagnetic immunity
The MPR1
is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment as specified below. The customer or
user of the MPR1 should ensure that it is used in such an environment.

Floors should be of wood or concrete or be
provided with ceramic tiles. If the floor has
a synthetic covering, the air humidity
should be at least
30 %.

The quality of the supply voltage should
correspond to that of a typical commercial
or hospital environment. If the user of the
MPR1 requires advanced functions, even
when interruptions to the power supply
may occur, it is recommended that the
MPR1 is fed from an uninterruptible power
supply or battery.
Reaction: Under this test condition, the
MPR1 switches over to this in built battery.
Magnetic field at
the supply
frequency (50 / 60
HZ) as per IEC
61000-4-8
3 A/m
3 A/m
Magnetic fields at the mains frequency,
should correspond to typical values, as
would be expected in a typical commercial
or hospital environment.
REMARK: U
T
is the mains AC voltage before the application of the test level.
In the following table P means the transmission power of the transmitter specified by the manufacturer in
watts (W) and d is the recommended distance in metres (m).
