5.3 Spreading with automatic operating mode (AUTO km/h + AUTO kg,
AXIS only)
Mass flow control with the M EMC function
The mass flow is measured separately on both spreading disc sides. Thus
deviations to the specified application rate can be immediately corrected.
The M EMC function requires the following machine data for mass flow control:

PTO speed

Spreading disc type
A PTO speed between 360 and 390 rpm is possible.

The required speed should remain constant during spreading
(+/- 10 rpm)
. High control quality can therefore be ensured.

Idle measurement is possible only if the actual PTO speed deviates by
max. +/- 10 rpm from the entry in the PTO menu. Outside of this range,
idle measurement is not possible.
Preconditions for spreading:

The AUTO km/h + AUTO kg operating mode must be active
(see 4.7.2: AUTO/MAN mode, page 62 ).
1. Fill the hopper with fertiliser.
2. Make the fertiliser settings:

Application rate (kg/ha)

Working width (m)
3. Enter the PTO speed in the corresponding menu.

4. Select the spreading disc type used in the corresponding menu.
See also "Spreading disc type" on page 4-52 .
5. Switch on the PTO.
6. Set the PTO to the PTO speed entered.
 The Idle measurement screen is displayed.
