Replacing a Drive Carrier

Identifying a Broken Drive Carrier

Perform the following steps:

1.

Open the R&S Device Manager as described in chapter “Using the 
R&S®Device Manger” on page 84.

2.

Opens the monitoring interface as described in "Monitoring Disk Arrays"  
on page 92.

A defect disk array will be indicated.

3.

Select 

Replace Broken Disks... 

in the context menu.

 The 

Fix Procedure

 wizard opens.

4.

Follow the instructions of the wizard.
