Sample Camera Calibration Menu for a Small Bus
There are always eight calibration points for each camera that need to be marked in the
window:

Standard Size
•
Adjust Vehicle position
•
Front Shadow Area
•
Rear Shadow Area
•
L/R Shadow Area
•
Front Merging Angle
•
Rear Merging Angle
•
Merging Range
The first selection that needs to be set is the Standard Size. Choose the type of vehicle that applies to
the camera calibration. The selections are Buses S (small), Buses M (medium), Buses L (large), and
Truck. Refer to the
Meters-to-Feet Conversion Table
to determine the calibration measurements in feet.
Once the Standard Size setting has been made, calibrate the cameras, push through the merging
computation, and return to the Camera Calibration
– Parameter Settings menu and set the remaining
parameters (i.e. Adjust Vehicle Position etc.).
