SA800U-WF_Hardware_Design 81 / 106

Wi-Fi and BT

SA800U-WF provides a shared antenna connector ANT-CH0 for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functions, a Wi-Fi

MIMO antenna connector ANT-CH1 for better Wi-Fi performance and a Bluetooth antenna connector BT*.

The interface impedance is 50

Ω. External antennas such as PCB antenna, sucker antenna and ceramic

antenna can be connected to the module via these connectors, so as to achieve Wi-Fi and BT functions.

“*” means under development.

4.1. Wi-Fi Overview

SA800U-WF supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band WLAN wireless communication based on IEEE

802.11a/b/g/n/ac standard protocols. The maximum data rate is up to 866 Mbps.

The features are as below:



Support Wake-on-WLAN (WoWLAN)



Support ad hoc mode



Support WAPI SMS4 hardware encryption



Support AP mode



Support Wi-Fi Direct



Support MCS 0

–7 for HT20 and HT40


