5.5. Connection of Alternative Power Supplies

Apart from the plug-in power supply described in detail here, other power supplies for
PiXtend eIO can also be used. Another example - a DIN rail power supply - we would like
to show on the following pages. Please always observe the associated safety instructions
before you apply voltage to power supplies or your PiXtend eIO module.

Note!

Before you buy, make sure that the power adapter complies with the
laws of your country. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer or dealer for
approval.
In addition, always observe the safety instructions of the respective
power supply, which must be enclosed in printed form.

Warning!

While you are working on the connection wires of a power supply unit,
the power supply must never be connected to the mains voltage!
