PiXtend eIO Hardware Manual
Most plug-in power supplies are equipped by their manufacturers with a hollow socket 2.1
mm (inside) x 5.5 mm (outside). This means that connection to the terminals on PiXtend
eIO is not possible directly.
We have therefore put together a set that contains all the required individual lines for
connection to PiXtend (V2 controllers and eIO extensions) (Fig. 23). You can purchase the

The set contains the following components:

Plug-in power supply - fixed output voltage - 24 V DC, 1.04 A.
•
Adapter from hollow socket to terminals
•
Connection cables red and blue - 0.75 mm², 10 cm in length
The adapter is plugged into the hollow plug socket. The two connecting cables can be
plugged into the adapter without tools. To do this, press the button on the adapter.
The red wire (+) is connected to the connector with red pushbutton, the blue wire (-) to the
connector with the black pushbutton:
