5.4. Connect Supply Voltage
PiXtend eIO can be operated with a wide range of power supplies that provide a stabilized
output voltage of 19 - 30 V DC
. So it may make sense to use a simple plug-in power
supply when working at the desk. If PiXtend eIO is installed in a control box or switchgear
cabinet, a mains adapter for DIN rail mounting is the ideal solution.

The exact requirements for a power supply can be found in chapter 6
Note!
Always make sure that the power supply used meets the legal
requirements of the country in which it is used!
On the following pages we will show you how to connect a standard power supply to
PiXtend eIO.
