PiXtend eIO Hardware Manual

5.4. Connect Supply Voltage

PiXtend eIO can be operated with a wide range of power supplies that provide a stabilized
output voltage of 19 - 30 V DC

. So it may make sense to use a simple plug-in power

supply when working at the desk. If PiXtend eIO is installed in a control box or switchgear
cabinet, a mains adapter for DIN rail mounting is the ideal solution.
Please also observe point 5.5

Connection of Alternative Power Supplies

from page 54 of

this document, if you want to use power supplies other than those described below.
The exact requirements for a power supply can be found in chapter 6

PiXtend eIO.
