Eject
button on the front panel to eject the tape cartridge.

Cycle the tape drive power to the off then on position:
For the internal LTO-4 (Model B) Half-Height Tape Drive:

Terminate all running applications.

Shut down the workstation or server system.

Restart the system.
For the tabletop LTO-4 (Model B) Half-Height Tape Drive, use the AC
power on/off switch on the back panel to cycle the drive power to
the off then on positions.
