Error Conditions
In case of any error condition the controller will flash an error message on the display and
also sound the built in audio alarm. Following is a list of the error conditions along with the
meaning.

Error: Low UV Intensity
Solution: The system is indicating a low UV
intensity. This could be due to many reasons
such as poor quality water, fouling or scaling on
the quartz glass, or fouling on the UV intensity
sensor window. Perform a full service of the
system and clean the quartz sleeve and sensor
window as per guidelines provided and check
again.

Error: The life of the UV lamp is exhausted and
needs replacing.
Solution: Replace the UV lamp and reset the
lamp life counter as described in the following
section.

Error:
The lamp or ballast has failed.
Solution:
Replace the UV lamp and check the
system. If the problem still persists, contact
Puretec customer support.
