occurrence  of  irritation  consult  a  doctor.  Hydraulic  oil  in  normal  conditions  is  not  harmful  to 

the respiratory tract. A hazard only occurs when oil is strongly atomised (oil vapour), or in the 

case  of  fire  during  which  toxic  compounds  may  be  released.  Oil  fires  should  be  quenched 

with the use of carbon dioxide (CO

2

), foam or extinguisher steam. Do NOT use water for fire 

extinguishing. 

Spilt  oil  should  be  immediately  collected  and  placed  in  a  marked  tight  container.  Used  oil 

should be taken to the appropriate facility dealing with recycling or regeneration of oils.
