4.5 UNHITCHING THE ROTARY TEDDER FROM THE TRACTOR
DANGER
Unhitching the rotary tedder from the tractor should be performed only on a flat and
stable surface.
In order to unhitch the tedder from the tractor proceed as follows (FIGURE 4.1):
•
lower the tedder on the tractor three point linkage until it rests on wheels,
•
turn off tractor engine and remove key from ignition,
•
immobilize the tractor and prevent it from moving,
•
lower the tedder's left and right supports (4) and secure them with cotter pins,
•
disconnect the PTO shaft (8),
•
disconnect the tedder's hydraulic conduit (6) from the quick coupler on the
tractor,
•
disconnect the top link (C) of the tractor three point linkage from the upper fixing
point (3) of the tedder hitching system,
•
disconnect the lower pins (1) and (2) of the tedder hitching system from the
lower links (A) and (B) of the tractor three point linkage
•
start the tractor engine and drive the tractor away from the tedder;
