CAUTION
MOUNTING THE RIGID DESCENDING PIPES

Wrap Tefl on 4 or 5 times
around the elbows of the rigid
descending fi ttings C & C’,
screw them onto the exterior
outlets of the nozzles (return
fi tting and vacuum point), do
not forget to use the o-rings
provided in the pool fi ttings
skin pack. Tighten by hand
to avoid crushing the o-ring.
Next, screw the upper union
of the rigid descending pipes,
C, onto the 2 return fi tting
elbows.

Screw the rigid descending fi ttings C
onto the return fi tting nozzle elbows.
Do not forget to check that the o-ring is
in position.
w
Trim the vacuum fi tting rigid
descending fi tting pipe (as described
above and at the mark corresponding
to your pool height) then install it.
w
Wrap tefl on around the
2 threadings on the J unions
and screw them into position
underneath the skimmer.
w
Screw the compression union heads
into position under the skimmers. Cut
the pipes at the mark corresponding
to the height of your pool. Chamfer
the cut slightly to facilitate insertion
of the pipe into the compression
union. Check that the tube is inserted
fully then tighten the green barrel
union taking care to ensure that the
connection is leaktight.

Tefl on and check that
o-rings and seals, if any,
are in place

When mounting the
rigid descending pipes,
the lower section can
be oriented to facilitate
subsequent assembly of
pipes.
