After determining the ideal position for your pool, start with the
excavation required to accommodate the concrete slab that will
form the base of your pool. On fi g. 1, identify those dimensions
that correspond to your pool.

Never backfi ll under the pool to achieve a level surface, always dig
down so that your pool rests on a stable, level surface.
w
Ensure that there is adequate peripheral drainage, especially if the
pool is to be installed in-ground.
w
Seek the assistance of a professional if necessary.
