Important Note about Navigation
As you may have discovered, when the media adapter displays items in list
form (as it is set to do at the factory), the right arrow button often works like
Select
, and the left arrow button often works like
Return
.
One of the media adapter’s setup options is a display mode called “thumbnail
view.” Selecting this option changes the display format from a line-by-line
listing to a tiled array of icons or thumbnail images. When thumbnail view is
used, the arrow buttons
only
move the highlighting, and you
must
press
Select
to activate an item and
Return
to go back.
Keep this in mind if you become accustomed to one display mode and then
switch to the other (we speak from experience).
