If the media adapter does not need to use a proxy server
, this is your last
chance to go back and make changes in the settings you have input. You can
go back — even all the way to the language setting screen — by pressing the
remote control’s
Return
button.
To set the media adapter not to use a proxy server
, let the
highlighting rest on
OFF
and press
Select
.
You’re done! The media adapter will briefly display its home screen,
and then it will apply the new configuration, reporting its progress as it
goes along. After about 20 seconds it will report its IP address. Press
any button on the remote control to continue.
Basic setup is complete, and you’ve learned much about using the
remote control. We recommend going to “Checking the Results,” below.
There, you will learn about viewing and adjusting media adapter
settings. Also, if there is any problem with the picture on your TV or
projector screen, chances are you can find the solution under
“Checking the Results.”
If the media adapter must use a proxy server
, use the up or down
arrow button to highlight
ON
, and then press
Select
. The proxy server
address input screen will appear afterwards.
6. Proxy Server Address
After you indicate that the media adapter must use a proxy server, the wizard
prompts you to enter the proxy server’s IP address.
