Step 2. Hold stay arm in up position and remove shoulder screw that attaches stay arm to
supply cassette door. Continue to hold stay arm in up position.
Step 3. Rotate flat (inner) side of stay arm towards rear cover and lift up to dislodge L-
section of stay arm from slot.
Step 4. Replace stay arm in reverse order of removal.
7-1.F Supply Cassette Door
Step 1.
Remove supply cassette door stay arm. (Refer to 7-1.E.)
Step 2. Remove the 6 screws that secure the supply cassette door to the upper light
shield. Screws are located behind the sound absorbing pad fastened to the
upper light shield.
Step 3. Replace rear cover in reverse order of removal.
7-1.G Take-up Cassette Door
Step 1.
Open the take-up cassette door.
Step 2. Remove the shoulder screw that mounts the support wire cable (lanyard) to the
door.
Step 3. Close the take-up cassette door.
Step 4. Remove the 6 screws that mount the door to the main frame.
Step 5. Replace take-up cassette door in reverse order of removal.
Step 6. Adjust take-up cassette door vertical position, if necessary, to ensure proper
closure.

Step 1.
Remove the take-up cassette door. Refer to 7-1.G.
Step 2. Remove the 2 self tapping screws located below the side panel.
Step 3. Replace the right end panel in reverse order of removal.

Rear Access Panel
Step 1. Remove the 10 screws that secure the rear access panel to the rear panel.
Step 2. Replace the rear access panel in reverse order of removal.

Note: A total of 13 screws, 2 of which are half turn hanger screws, secure the rear cover
to the main chassis.
