9-4 Disk Resident Diagnostics (Debug Port)

9-4.1 Controller Diagnostic
The Controller Diagnostic (wcb_diag) is a more extensive set of tests and utilities designed to
verify the operation of the CPU, Page Buffer Modules (PBM0 - 4) and the Front End SCSI
Port (Port 0 - 3) subsystems of the WCB/BOB. The Controller Diagnostics (wcb_diag) reside
on Page Buffer Drive 0 and is loaded and executed by the PROM Monitor via the Debug Port
or the front Keypad. Status and errors are reported to the debug port and the front panel.

The following examples are used to illustrate the primary Controller Diagnostic (WCB)
Commands and Tests.
