Via Pro/Via Mini User’s Guide: Dialogue AAC

Attaching a Strap

If you want to carry your device with a shoulder strap, first decide whether you want to carry the device in

landscape or portrait orientation.

Straps are potential entanglement or strangulation hazards. Please consider this prior to placing

these items with device users.

Via Pro

Via Mini

Attach two metal rings to the appropriate

holders.

(See the procedure below.)

Do not

attach a strap directly to the case as this

may damage the device.

Thread the strap material through the appropriate

holders. You do not need to attach any rings to the

straps.

To attach the metal rings to the holders on your Via Pro device:

Open the ring as you would open a key ring.

Use your fingernail, a screwdriver, or a dime.

Push the open ring onto the holder

in the wrap.

Allow the ring to close on the holder. Then

repeat steps 1 to 3 for the other ring.

Clip the strap to the rings

The metal rings are potential choking hazards. Use them with caution.
