Appendix C: Using Message Banking

The PRC-Saltillo message banking website and myMessageBanking.com allow you to combine multiple

recorded messages into a .zip file and download the file to your device. When you use the Import

Message Banking Zip File feature, the messages will appear automatically on pages in your Essence 60 or

Essence 84 vocabulary.

Accessing a Message Banking Website

1. Tap

Menu

, select

Settings

, and scroll to the Message Banking section.

2. To access one of the message banking sites, tap either

PRC-Saltillo Message Bank Site

MyMessageBanking Site

and log in.

3. Record your messages, combine them into a .zip file, and download them to your device.
4. Import the .zip file into your Essence vocabulary. See “Importing Message Banking Messages”.

Importing Message Banking Messages

1. Tap

Menu

, and scroll to the Message Banking section.

2. Tap the Import Message Bank ZIP File

Import

button.

3. A window opens to the

Recents

tab. Select a folder or search for .zip file you created from the

Message Banking website. Or tap

Browse

at the bottom of the window and locate the file.

4. Select the file. “Done!” will be displayed.
5. Select

Done

to close the Settings. The imported messages will appear automatically on pages in your

Essence 60 or Essence 84 vocabularies under the

Banked

button.
