At this weight it is possible to swim comfortably and to easily
ascend to the surface with the help of the inlet valve.
Maximum weight skould only be utilized when there is an espe-
cially great need for resting steadily on the bottom in an upright
position. Comfortable ascents to the surface are possible even at
maximum weight.
By keeping you warm and giving you control over your buoyancy,
the drysuit makes diving safer. Many of the suit’s features combine
to prevent uncontrolled inflation. If the inlet valve should jam in
the open position, the hose can be easily released by means of its
quick connection.
The suit can also be opened at the cuffs. In addition, you can
reach the zip fastener even when wearing the suit - and can thus
release air that way. Even if all air is released from the suit you can
retain positive floating power by removing the weights. When the
suit is inflated it also functions as a life jacket. It keeps the diver
high above the surface of the water, even in heavy seas.
How to store and transport the drysuit:
The carton in which the suit is delivered is only meant to be trans-
port packaging. The suit should therefore be unpacked as quickly
as possible. Poseidon’s special divebag should be used for transport-
ing the suit.
When the suit is hung up - e.g. for drying - it is important that it
hangs freely without pressing against any other object. During
storage it is also important that the suit is not crushed between
other objects, that it does not rest against sharp corners or edges,
etc. A special hanger should be used. The suit should then be hung
as shown in the picture. It is important that the collar and hood
are not crushed. Before storage the zip should be treated in accor-
dance with the instructions outlined earlier in this brochure.
