And Tips for Easier Acclimation
for You, Too
While it’s not as much adjustment
as when you first brought Fluffy
or Fido home, the new PortionPro
Rx will change your pet routine a
little. Be patient with yourself.
Some routines you might need
to tweak:
●
If you’re used to free-feeding
your pet, you’ll be even freer
now as you won’t have to fill
the food bowl—just keep
the PortionPro Rx food bin full
and the feeder will do the rest!
●
If you’re used to your pet
rubbing your leg to tell
you it’s time to eat, try
swapping this routine for a toy
toss or brushing. And enjoy
the freedom as PortionPro Rx
takes over your feeding job!
●
If your pet sleeps in your
bedroom, they now might
get up at night to go eat
from the feeder so you may
need to crack the bedroom
door open. The good news
is you won’t have to get up
yourself for those late-night/
early-morning feedings!
●
If you’re noise-sensitive,
yes, the PortionPro Rx bowl
door makes some sound and
movement as it opens and
closes, yet it’s subtle and
lasts only a few seconds.
Within a week or so, you and
your pet will barely
notice. If you do,
try moving the
PortionPro Rx to
a more secluded,
yet still pet-accessible,
spot in your home.
Or if needed, switch
to open mode.
