As the feeder slows down, the material will be
processed in the drum and the pressure
requirement will reduce. You now want the
feeder to speed back up again and the
pressure at which the feeder speeds back up
is determined by what level you set the Low
Pressure Switch. What you set the high pressure switch and
low pressure switch to will depend on the
material, the size of the mesh in the drum,
quality of screened material. It is just a matter
of adjusting the switches until you find the
desired and optimum screening performance.
4.14 Moving the 4000T about Site
1. Observe all safety and warnings before
moving the machine. NEVER track the
machine across a slope as this could result in
the machine toppling over. 2. The engine can be run at full speed when
moving the machine about site.
3. You can raise the tail section of the wing
conveyor up from the ground.
4. Take the Remote Control and walk away from
the machine until the cord has been extended
fully. 5. Ensure that all other persons are well away
from the unit as you move the Portafill 4000T.
