Side window vents
The two air outlets in the armrests permit
individual adjustment of heated, fresh or c o l d
air flow.
A - vents closed
B - vents open
The vents are adjustable to direct air f l o w
sideways or up and d o w n .
Center air vents
The two vents in the center console are for
c o o l e d air only.
Fan speed control - rotary switch knob
The air volume is c o n t r o l l e d by a 4-speed
fan. W h e n the ignition is turned on, the fan
automatically operates at low speed, even
with the switch in the OFF position. By t u r n -
ing the knob clockwise, fan speeds 1-4 can
be selected to increase the air volume.
Temperature control - upper lever
lever to left - cold
lever to right - increased heating
Maximum heating output is achieved w h e n
the engine has reached normal operating
temperature.
The vents are adjustable to direct air f l o w
sideways or up and d o w n . Turn the rotary
knob to shut off cool air f l o w .
Air distribution control - lower lever
- air vents closed
- air conditioner on, center console
vents open
- air nozzles for foot wells open
- air nozzles for windshield and foot
wells open
- air nozzles f o r windshield open
DEF - air nozzles for foot wells c l o s e d .
Fan automatically switches to highest
speed, and the air conditioner c o m p -
ressor is switched on automatically
to dehumidify the air. For fast de-
f o g g i n g / d e f r o s t i n g move upper lever
to extreme right.
Fan rotary switch
W i t h the ignition turned on, the fan operates
at low speed even if the switch is in the "off"
position. By turning the knob clockwise, fan
speeds 1-4 can be selected to increase the
volume of air.
The heater temperature is dependent upon
the coolant temperature. The heater will
achieve maximum output when the engine
has reached normal operating temperature.
