Applicable Standards and Directives

Polytec instruments comply with the standards IEC and EN 62471

(Photobiological Safety of Lamps and Lamp Systems).

Information on Risk Category 0

The instrument complies with risk category 0 and does not pose any

photobiological danger. This includes looking directly into the beam during

normal operation over a long period of time.

Under any operating conditions, there is no risk to skin.
