Mini300plus

HP Web JetAdmin

The Mini300plus supports HP Web JetAdmin. This utility allows the user

to remotely monitor and manage printers attached to networked print

servers via a standard web browser.

HP Web JetAdmin supports Windows NT/2000, HP-UX, Solaris, RedHat

Linux, SuSE Linux. Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later) or Netscape 4.0

(or later) is required. For more information on the HP Web JetAdmin

products, contact HP Customer Care Online at http://www. h p . c o m /

Note:

When installed on a server on your network, any of its clients can access HP

Web Jetadmin by simply browsing the HP Web JedAdmin host (server)

through a standard Web browser.

Installing HP Web JetAdmin

Bef ore instal li ng t he software, verif y that ei ther you have t he

administrator’s access right or you are allowed to install the program at the

root level of the system.

1. Access HP Customer Care Online

( h t t p : / / w w w.hp.com/cposupport/prodhome/hpwebjetad1880.html) and

download the installation file.

2. Install the HP Web JetAdmin software. When installing the file on

WindowsNT/2000, log on to the system as an administrator. If you are

installing the program on UNIX, log on as root.
