The temperature measurement tools submenu contains the following functions:
•
Tap the icon to select the temperature measurement region.
•
Tap the icon to add a center spot temperature measurement.
•
Tap the icon to add a movable spot temperature measurement location.
•
Tap the icon to add a movable line measurement region.
•
Tap the icon to add a movable rectangular measurement region.
•
Tap the icon to add a movable ellipse measurement region.
•
Tap the
icon to display the temperature difference between two existing
measurement values.
•
Tap the icon to delete an existing temperature measurement region.
The prefix of measurement regions displayed on the screen are: El for ellipse, Bx
for rectangular, Li for line, and Sp for point.
3.2.2.1
Add a temperature measurement region , , ,
There are 5 types of temperature measurement regions that can be added: point, line,
rectangle, ellipse, and center spot. Use the following steps to add a new temperature
measurement region.
Step 1 Tap the
icon in the home screen followed by the measurement tools icon
.
Step 2 Tap the icon corresponding to the desired measurement region type: point ( ),
line ( ), rectangle ( ), ellipse ( ) or center spot ( ).
Step 3 Tap the screen outside of the menu area to complete the setting.
Step 4 To change the location, display settings and emissivity value of a measurement
region requires the additional steps described in 3.2.2.2 through3.2.2.4.
3.2.2.2
Region measurement selection
Use the following steps to select an existing temperature measurement region.
Step 1 Tap on the desired temperature measurement region displayed on the screen,
or tap the icon, use the selection dial to scroll up or down to the desired
region in the list, and tap confirm.
