Step 2 After confirming that the metal tabs at the bottom of the battery align with the
metal tabs of the charger, put the battery in the charger to charge. The battery
icon on the charger flashes to indicate that it is charging, and stops flashing to
indicate that the battery is fully charged.
Step 3 When charging is complete, unplug the battery from the charger.
Step 4 When installing, make sure that the metal tabs at the bottom of the battery align
with the metal tabs inside the battery compartment, and push the battery inward
to complete the battery installation.
Be sure to use original batteries, chargers, and power adapters.

USB charging
For convenient charging, you can connect the camera to the power adapter via a USB
cable.
Please leave the battery in the camera when charging through the USB port.
For charging through the USB port, use the following steps:
Step 1 Open the interface cover in the direction of the arrow illustrated.
Step 2 Connect one end of the USB cable to the camera and the other end to the power
adapter.
