Step 2 Tap the reflected temperature setting icon .
Step 3 Using the temperature dial, select the temperature value of objects seen on
reflection from the measurement surface (see Section 3.3.2 for the units
settings).
Step 4 Tap the screen outside of the menu area to complete the setting.
If field conditions permit, avoiding reflections on the measurement
surface can greatly improve accuracy.

Ambient temperature
Ambient temperature refers to the environment temperature where the camera and the
measurement surface are located.
•
To set the ambient temperature:
Step 1 Tap the ambient temperature setting icon .
Step 2 Slide the ambient temperature dial on the screen up or down to match the
actual ambient temperature value (see Section 3.3.2 for the units settings).
Step 3 Tap the screen outside of the menu area to complete the setting.

Relative humidity
The relative humidity of the air between the camera and the target object may affect
temperature accuracy over long distances.

To set the relative humidity:
Step 1 Tap the relative humidity setting icon .
