Click On in the Screen Saver field to turn on
a screen saver.

Select Blank Screen from the list of screen savers at
the left.
If you select a screen saver other than or in addition to
Blank Screen, the system does not invoke DPMS.
Instead, it uses the screen saver you selected.

Use the slider in the Start Saver field to set the time from
when the system last received input on the mouse or key-
board until it invokes the screen saver. You can set this
time from 1 (one) to 120 minutes.
Remember these tips when you set the screen saver:
• During times that you use the display frequently, set the
Screen Saver field to Off. This setting ensures that the
display does not invoke DPMS, which means that you
do not have to wait for the display to stabilize when
you begin to use it again.
• Set the Screen Saver field to On when you will be away
from the computer for several hours. With the screen
saver running, your system will conserve energy, and
the display’s CRT lasts longer.
