Customizing sync parameters on Windows NT 4.0

If you are using the Windows NT 4.4.0 or later driver,
you can customize sync parameters for the Windows NT
operating system.

To set custom syncs

Open the text sync (

.vid

) file from the

C:\dome\tools

directory.

The

.vid

file for the M2/PCI board is

M2PCI.vid

Change individual sync parameters in the text sync file
or add new individual syncs at the end of the file to create
a new mode.

Make sure there are no empty lines at the end of the

.vid

file.

Save the text sync file.

Open a DOS window.

Change directory to

C:\dome\tools

If your customized file contains errors, the display may appear
blank. Always make a backup copy of the original

.vid

and

.cfg

files before making any changes to them.
